At the heart of The Falling Leaves Farm is storytelling. I am a writer, a storyteller and a world builder. Every character you meet, every place you visit, every twist in the story and every tiny detail of this world begins in my imagination. I can see The Falling Leaves Farm incredibly clearly in my mind. Unfortunately, getting it onto paper with a pencil is a very different story. Believe me, I've tried. Many times. I simply cannot draw.

That is why I am so grateful to live in a time where new creative technologies, including AI, allow me to give a visual form to the world that until now could only exist inside my head. I use these tools as part of my creative process to translate my ideas, art direction and imagination into imagery, carefully shaping and refining everything until it feels like the world I see when I close my eyes. And these tools also help me translate my story from Dutch to English.

The artist behind The Falling Leaves Farm is me, Nina: the stories, characters, settings, atmosphere and visual ideas all originate with me; technology simply gives me another way to express them.

And perhaps that is what excites me most. I no longer have to keep this little world to myself. Now, I can invite you into it too
